Nathan Fillion Gets Irate at “Angry Birds”
Insult? Injury?
Is it possible that the normally unflappable Nate has gotten… flapped?

For the Twitter crowd:
If you have heard about the #FollowFriday scene on Twitter, you may have wondered, “What’s the point?”
Here’s a Webcomic that details how it’s supposed to work, and usually what actually happens.
Javamancy and its sister sites are currently re-evaluating their relationship with a certain organization, after more than nine (9) years.
More news on this in a few days…
Remember when we were placing bets on which tweeting-celebrity would be most likely to fire out ASCII art tweets?
Well, here’s Nathan Fillion doing a couple of ASCII renditions: here and here.
Who’s next?
Eliza Dushku just tweeted that she is parting ways with the “Bird Dog” TV show that was recently pitched to TNT.
Something about creative differences.
Oh, well… Here’s to hoping that Eliza quickly returns to the screen again! Getting a quick episode role on The Big Bang Theory… well, it’s fun, but it just didn’t seem long enough.
Folks, if you are curious (or even, daresay, VERY concerned) about Twitter’s status, head over to Twitter’s tumblog: http://tell.im/50 .
Note that it is, in fact, hosted on tumblr (http://tell.im/51).
Ouch! Twitter got hacked earlier… but it’s back in service now.
Is it easy or hard to imagine that a social announcement service like Twitter would get trashed by miscreants?
A Xbox LIVE system update is due today, so if you are logged in, you may be asked to log out momentarily to accept the update. If you are in the process of logging in, or haven’t logged in yet, you will be asked to accept the update.
This update is intended to prep XBL for the upcoming social software capabilities that were touted earlier this year, including Twitter, Last.FM, and Facebook.
Several people have commented to me about wanting to know why certain people, especially corporate officers and other company officials as well as government folks, visit/use/manipulate Twitter frequently.
I’ve even had a several teenagers and a couple of early-20′ers ask me about Twitter. They’ve told me that they just don’t “get it”… quite a surprising statement (superficially) from these people… until I realized that these “kids” aren’t the technophiles that the mainstream media loves to report about– these are the young’uns that have been bypassed by several generations of current online technology that have arrived in the past few years.
However, I also think it’s surprising since there seem to be so many articles and books floating around about Twitter…
Twitter is coming back alive now… a little bit at a time.
Folks, check your Twitter pages to ensure that you’re still there!

Folks: Like many of you, I’ve been busily testing the Twitter pages to make sure that things are being reactivated.
Clearly, everybody (including me) slamming the login page incurs a severe performance penalty, so please be patient.
