Got visual (and wallet) confirmation earlier today that the 99¢ Filet-o-Fish promotion has been continued in several McDonald’s [MCD] outlets! 
Just when you thought that the $100 discount on the Xbox 360 Elite console packages was a way to achieve new price parity with the PlayStation 3 price drops… Microsoft [MSFT] strikes yet again, hot on the heels of the exciting Modern Warfare 2 limited edition Xbox 360 Elite announcement, with an additional Xbox 360 Elite price deal.
This time, it is a $50 rebate on the Xbox 360 Elite when purchased between now and October 5, 2009.

Now, the Apple Store has been shut down for the new incoming product SKUs and rearrangement of the existing SKUs. The time is fast approaching for Apple’s [AAPL] “It’s Only Rock and Roll” media event…
The Apple Store prices on several of the current-gen iPod models (NOT the ones to be announced at today’s product announcement) were dropped, from $20 to $120…
Not willing to concede the console wars to Microsoft [MSFT] yet, Sony [SNE] is stickin’ in the game with the revamped PS3 Slim format, with a price reduction and a firmed-up release date for North America.

Did anybody get at least one of the 52″ Samsung HDTV’s from the Best Buy [BBY] web site for $9.99 USD before they yanked the link?
It’s ironic that it is perhaps one of the few times where “Best Buy” actually lives up to its name. The question is now: Will Best Buy honor their agreement to savvy customers?
