    Apple Media Event Today

In just a matter of minutes (or about half an hour, more or less), Apple [AAPL] will hold its September media event, which has historically been used to announce multimedia devices and software, either as new items or product updates.

The event is scheduled to begin 10:00 AM Pacific time (or 1:00 PM Eastern time).

And whenever there are product rollouts, the online Apple Store has a habit of being temporarily suspended (in terms of access) to allow the new product SKUs and entries, including any pre-order screens, to activate after the conference.

Don’t think it’s gonna happen this year. Looks like AT&T is the lock-in for now.
