I’ve also noticed men tend to apologize less under common social scenarios, like sprinkling them during normal conversations. But the ones that are given tend to be sincere. But like nasty females, nasty males I know also don’t apologize at all, or also grudgingly mumble apologies in backhanded ways.

Perhaps the common denominator is that nasty/bad people tend to behave similarly, but there is more variation within nice, socially acceptable people?

After a bit, I realize that the pleasant women I know tend to apologize more and freely, in a socially acceptable and sincere manner. However, nasty females I know don’t really apologize at all, or grudgingly mumble apologies in backhanded ways– as if you owe them an apology for their mistakes– and only when witnesses of their errors happen to be present.
