After completing the last of the larger tournaments, I realized that I’ve re-completed (once again!… how’s that for redundancy?) the totality of the Borderlands achievements.
Of course, this is just in time for the expected THIRD Borderlands DLC, coming soon. 
After several grueling hours spread across a couple of days, I’ve managed to complete the trio of Mad Moxxi’s Underdome’s larger arena tournaments.
It certainly was quite an ordeal with a single Level 50 character, without the support of a comrade who would be able to revive you when you get downed (and that happens a LOT!), especially with a lot of the indirect fire from the baddies– or if the baddies are super-souped-up on speed and able to zip in and out of cover faster than even you can fire…
Unfortunately, I may have also encountered something unsettling: somehow, I managed to lose my favorite ivory (NOT white!) colored repeater pistol prior to exiting the last of the tournaments. I’m not sure if it is a bug that occurred during the exiting process, or I had inadvertently dropped it in the heat of combat. Hopefully, I’ll have a chance to find something like it again…
It sounds like, for this winter season, we’re at least going to have an odd “bookending” of severe snowstorms.
The Washington, DC area already had a severe snowstorm in December 2009, and now the local meteorologists are rumbling about another mega-blizzard entering the area in a few days. This “snow-pocalypse” is expected to rival, and most likely surpass, the Mega Blizzard of 2009…
