Earlier today, somebody asked why I bother to abide by WordPress development guidelines and a lot of the “modularity” (master-slave) relationships that WP theme customization folks rely upon… especially given the fact that DevPal CM build methodology allows for rapid code deployments and easily performs code overlays without penalty.

Simple: because the methodology does not care whether the modifications are made to be part of an overlay onto the base substrate, or whether the WP customization guidelines are in play and the code is kept sequestered in individual subdirectories.

Also, if any of the products were released into the wild (i.e., not for a private client or project), the construction and customization philosophy espoused by the WP dev bunches makes sense. :-)

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 — Der Riese

    Whoo-hoo! Mega-zombie-slaughterfest!

Once again, there are more Achievements and Achievement Points to earn…

But it really gets scarier now… I’ve noticed that my lone character seems to have gotten even slower during walking (and running) and a bit sluggish on turns and spins… and the zombies have learned how to dodge, climb, jump, and leap around on the map!

There are a couple of workflows that function fairly well if you are out to quickly activate the power… But what about the power-up slot machine?

Twitter is coming back alive now… a little bit at a time.

Folks, check your Twitter pages to ensure that you’re still there! ;-)

Folks: Like many of you, I’ve been busily testing the Twitter pages to make sure that things are being reactivated.

Clearly, everybody (including me) slamming the login page incurs a severe performance penalty, so please be patient. :-)

Time to check for that CoD:WaW Map Pack 3…

Unfortunately, with the Twitter being out of service, it’s tough to tweet about it…

    Twitter Service Outage NOW

    Uh-oh!

For those of you who are absolutely addicted (or, at the very least, seriously fixated) on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed that the service is not responding to your Web browser. Or your iPhone app. Or your Flash client.

Apparently, there’s severe service outage today. Like now. Right N-O-W. It’s been going on for awhile now thus far, but it hasn’t come back. :-(
