Javamancy Operations Interrupted During Security Patching

in Operations

During today’s security patching of Javamancy, there were a few syntax errors in one of the configuration files. As a result, you may have experienced a HTTP Error 500 on at least one of the pages that comprise the weblog.

The outage lasted for a little over one hour, but it may have felt a lot longer to a lot of you who routinely check the blog. Fortunately, Javamancy is back in operation, none worse for the wear. :-)

N.B.

Thanks to all of you who sent in your E-mails describing your concern over our lil’ weblog, as well as several of you who fired IM’s in my direction.

At this rate, I should probably get that Twitter stuff set up, right? ;-)
