So, you’ve been following along the recent posts about Apple’s [AAPL] 2009 desktop releases. Or you’ve been drooling over Apple’s recent notebook updates from last year. But you don’t have that extra money sitting prettily on your desk like you did about the same time last year, right? You’d already gone out and blew that cash on a few netbooks, like a Dell Mini 9, but you’re starting to regret being over-Windows-ized now. And you still have that OS X jones. What to do, what to do?
Here’s some potentially good news: Jason O’Grady over at ZDnet has posted his instructions on how to install OS X onto a Dell Mini 9. Yes, it may not be foolproof; and yes, it may not run smoothly like it would on a bona fide Mac. But it’s certainly an educational process, and it’ll help take care of the Windows blahs.
If you decide to give this a shot, let us know how it went.
