A lot of people, Mac enthusiasts and otherwise, are eagerly awaiting the Macworld Expo (coming tomorrow), not just for the actual announced topics at the event, but also any unexpected firework that may result. In the past, we’ve mentioned concerns about Steve Jobs’ health. So, at times tongue-in-cheek, and at times not-so-much… Apple [AAPL] and the Other Steve have “run with it”, and used various channels to get the word out that SJ is still hangin’ in there.
So it came earlier today: not one, but two(!), press releases on Apple’s PR site explaining the Other Steve’s health status (by SJ himself) and the confidence that the board of directors has in his performance and longevity.
‘Nuf said? Maybe… but flipping on my physician’s hat (or stethoscope) momentarily… hormone imbalance… hmm… Endocrine disorder? Um… pituitary… pancreas… adrenals… thyroid… parathyroids… so many glands to choose from (and there are more!)… The Other Steve would certainly be a smorgasbord of biopsy sites.
