Welcome to 2009!
This is the first post for the new year, and we’re both hopeful and excited about the goings-on that people are anticipating and, yes, even the unexpected twists and turns in technology, politics, and life in general.
Congratulations to the new millionaires (and in a couple of cases, new billionaires) who have made their fortunes due to the recent tremendous market volatility. Condolences to the others (you know who you are) who have lost significant portions of their fortunes over the past 15 months, and good wishes for a better tomorrow. But, in addition to attending lots of parties over these past few days, you’ve probably done a bit of soul-searching or contemplation over what is to come, and inklings (if not something more firm) of your future plans are already materializing in a corner of your mind, right?
