While discussing upgrade concerns to WordPress 2.7, Lorelle mentioned a link to another blog that suggests a series of WordPress plugins that work with the 2.6.x series that bring a certain level of comparable functionality that is seen in the recently-released WordPress 2.7.
I thought it was certainly an interesting read, so I recommend it to those of you who still enjoy WordPress 2.6.x and are more casual in your approach to upgrading your software or are still testing the new WordPress 2.7 but want to see certain features in your current blog state.
