The folks at Macworld have been showcasing what they call “Mac Gems” weekly for quite some time, but starting on June 16 and continuing until sometime in mid-August, they’re planning on presenting Mac Gems every day.
A “Mac Gem” is free or low-cost software that the Macworld editors deem worthy of coverage.
Unlike my previous discussion about Open Source Mac, these Mac Gems are not necessarily must-haves. And like any piece of software, use at your own caution, and take the time to read about the software before attempting to install it.
