A Little Bit:
Tokbox‘s premise is a Web-based free video calling service. It was highlighted earlier today on CNBC, and it is being funded by one of the YouTube founders. In addition to providing a consumer-facing interface (so you can vidcall your buddies, and even me, if you’re so inclined), the Tokbox site also provides information about their exposed API, including some code samples and docs. And yes, somebody was kind enough to contribute a Java code sample for the API.

I was unable to find the Java code sample
Can you provide a link? Thanks!
The Tokbox site is a bit confusing at times.
Try:
http://developers.tokbox.com/index.php/Getting_Started
You will still need to sign up for a key to use it; the original link included was supposed to let to request a key and then download the APIs, but I guess not…?
Anybody else have issues with their site?
Hey Steve! Weird to see you reply as a comment instead of an Email! I haven’t been to their site in some time but there was a problem a few months ago with it. I thought the sample code was somewhere else earlier but you could get to it from a link on their main web page.
Hi Folks,
I wanted to highlight that our engineers can answer/resolve API issues here: http://groups.google.com/group/tokbox-developers
API keys can be requested here: http://www.tokbox.com/view/developer
Main page w/links to FAQs: http://developers.tokbox.com/index.php/Main_Page
Hi, Damon, thanks for dropping by and responding to Predrag’s comment, as well as providing us with additional links that should help clear up any confusion.
Always nice to hear from other developers.
(Yes, Mackie, even as a comment!)
